CHTN- Iran and Malaysia are going to sign a memorandum of understanding to
establish direct flights between the two islands.
Iran and Malaysia will expand their cooperation in the tourism industry to
boost mutual economies and increase cultural exchange.
''We want tourists in Kish to also come to Langkawi," said the Iranian
Ambassador to Malaysia Mehdi Khandaqabadi after arriving at Wisma Darul Aman.
More than 40,000 tourists from Iran visit Malaysia every year and Langkawi is
among their favorite destinations, Khandaqabadi added.
